I'm curious as to why you think RFK Jr cannot be trusted.
I don’t hear him speaking of things like this; as John did

He knows it.
Most know it
Because it’s the truth
But if you don’t acknowledge it
Even tangentially
Im not trusting you

So I basically trust no one

The opposition needs clowns also. We the people don't need politicians nor government to legalize our freedom.

He does, I think, touch on it. In his speech announcing his run. A little. He talks about truth and lies and about JFK and RFK I'll have to listen to it again more closely. Maybe he's afraid of being labeled a conspiracy theorist once again. He didn't mention vaccines either. Frankly, I would be worried about his safety if he were nominated.

Has said that he wants to find a diplomatic solution and withdraw from Ukraine (in his speech linked at the beginning of the thread and here):

I just heard a news snippet this morning where Kennedy stated in sept. 2022, it was a “just” conflict (Ukraine), and his son Conor was fighting in Kharkov 2022 in the foreign legion. He has the name, but not the balls imo. He is a politician, separate issue from his pro vaccine stance.

Yeah, I think he did say in his speech that he thought that we were there for the "right reasons" but that he hoped to diplomatically be able to withdraw the troops if elected.

He's my hero and I'm Dem entering to vote for him.

He's polling at 14% (of Democrats!) out of the gate but the D's are cancelling the norm of presidential debates, no debates against Biden (!).

Fox were the only MSM present at his kick-off rally in Boston. The other MSM are portraying him as a one-issue kook, which is so wrong.

However The Hill's Rising (on YT) with Briahna Joy Gray and Robby Soave are giving him decent coverage! They are on opposite ends of the political spectrum but are both against the war. Krystal and Sagaar's Breaking Points are giving him a fair shake as well (from what I have heard).

There should be a list of last day in each state to change party registration to vote in the primary of your choice. I can't even remember when I left the D's but given his legacy it makes total sense to change registration and vote for him.

I find it great that you are thoughtful, engaged and hopeful

But politics at this level are just a “show”

That doesn’t mean I don’t care

I concentrate locally
My school board
My sheriff
Our judges
Our bonds etc

I was wondering if people would change parties to vote for him so that is awesome! I'm hoping that there are also enough disillusioned Dems like me to get him the nomination. And I agree the majority of the media coverage is abysmal. He's being dismissed and censored for speaking up about some of the very things we talk about here on RPF.

I know what you mean, I really do, but somebody's going to be president. I'd rather have it be someone who is concerned with the health of the American people, instead of healthcare after they've made us sick.

He’s responsible for the suicide of his wife Mary, former heroin addict and sex addict, has a son who went to fight in Ukraine, touting preserving the middle class to help usher in feudal serfdom with a twist of liberalism. Very American indeed.
I haven't seen the full video but I am almost certain that he is addressing the label given to him of being completely anti-vax before going on to explain his concerns. He is critical of the increasing number of vaccines given to children and with vaccine safety and calls for caution and more research. I do believe he opposes the COVID vaccines and any mandates as many us of do here, and as Ray Peat did.

Yes, somehow he has been portrayed as a total anti-vax figure in the media, when what he appears to be is a vaccine critic. Children's Health Defense cites inadequate research on long-term effects, increasing number of vaccines given to children, and concerns with vaccine safety. In RFK's speech he mentioned an increase in health problems in children starting in 1989 and without mentioning vaccines said we need to find the cause. Ray Peat has also discussed this 1989 phenomenon linked to mass vaccination.

Alison McDowell is extraordinary - I've posted her work elsewhere. It's disappointing to learn this stuff about RFK

From the comments on youtube

Someone asks Alison about programmable water with graphene. What are they programming the water for?

This is her reply:-

This was something I was looking into over a year ago, but I haven't had a chance to get back to it. It relates to water memory and coherent water, things that people have been discussing for a long time.

I have mentioned the analemma water wand that some influencers are selling. It was created by Dolf Zantinge, a high-level Dutch AI guy and Sufi practitioner with an interest in "world peace."

There is something about how the "legs" of the hydrogen are positioned that allows the programming. https://www.nature.com/articles/s42004-022-00666-8

I am linking this with scientific research into using graphene to "treat" water, for filtration and desalinization. https://www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/products/perforene-graphene-membrane.html https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34207716/

It's notable that among the board positions Robert F. Kennedy Jr. held at Vantage Point Capital Partners was Ostara, a wastewater treatment firm based in high-tech Vancouver. Kennedy was a cleantech advisor for the firm. http://ostara.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/2009-02-26-VancouverSun.pdf

The name Ostara has some associated symbolism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%92ostre

Control of water is a key issue, because yes, water is life. But it is also crystalline, and has been shown to transmit information.

The next phase of computing is light-based, photonics and optics - wireless you know. I think there is an important role in the bio-hybrid supercomputer for water management - internal to the body and external. I'm thinking that perhaps the use of hydrogel is part of this? https://www.techbriefs.com/component/content/article/tb/pub/briefs/electronics-and-computers/38360 https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/inf2.12399

I think it is important symbolically that RFK Jr. has been positioned (in part by Standard Oil money - Rockefeller) as a "water keeper," and that he raised money for his "environmental" causes by bottling water. https://archive.ph/yhyuQ

Yesterday someone pointed out that his maternal grandfather was George Skakel, founder of Great Lakes Coal and Coke (carbon). He and his wife died in a plane crash. https://www.jfklibrary.org/learn/about-jfk/the-kennedy-family/ethel-skakel-kennedy

In recent years both materials have been identified for the production of graphene. https://www.ohio.edu/research/tto/technologies/environmental-science/low-cost-production-graphene-coal https://www.nature.com/articles/s41699-021-00255-8

Graphene is a one-layer hexagonal lattice of carbon and used to make carbon nano-tubes and elements of nano-machines. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-82280-7

Not sure what to make of it all yet, but there are a lot of interesting pieces to this puzzle floating around, so to speak. I am still trying to piece it together, and would welcome other people's ideas. I know many people are better versed on this topic.

I saw this comment too and was checking out some of the links. I agree her work is very expansive, which is in a way similar to Ray's work, and neither of them latch on to a personality or "hero" etc, rather than showing layers/angles of a problem.

Without discounting his work in the harm of vaccines, do you think promoting "personalised vaccines" is problematic? He also believes there was a "pandemic" and it could have been managed better with "early treatment."
I remember in the early days of the so called "pandemic" Dr Peat, often said "I'm not sure anything is happening" and he cited professor Genevieve Briand of John's Hopkins who had analysed CDC's own data and come to the same conclusion - that there was really nothing happening.

RFK Jr's stance on "climate change" is very alarming. He is also on the board of Vantage points.

Honestly I don't have enough knowledge about vaccines in general to comment. This is first i've heard of personalized vaccines and I don't have children so my first dilemma with vaccines has been the COVID vaccines (and dog vaccines) after reading Peat's work for over a decade which helped me figure out what course to take.

I'm not saying nor do I think that RFK has always gotten the science right, but I think he's been close and I think he's been asking the right questions. He is not Ray Peat after all :). And his interest in preventative health and his work on behalf of the environment are of interest to me.

I'm not sure what he has said about climate change but his website does list and talk about the environemnt as one of his priorities. I think he has advocated in the past for renewable energy sources and a carbon tax. Is there more to it?

What is the significance of being on the board of Vantage points? I tried to google but not sure what I'm looking for or what type of organization it is.

Thanks for bringing up these points.

With respect, this doesn't look recent and he's speaking to corporate greed. There was a time when I would have rallied behind this as a student of Geography and having been indoctrinated with Al Gore's video. Later, when my mind was clear, I questioned whether or not there was always global cooling or warming given the known ice ages --which just came out of logic-- and then I was accused to pandering to the standard line of the right-wing. Honestly, he's had such a high-profile life that there's a lot of material that can be brought out of the woodwork to try and discredit him. He clearly doesn't have that stance as a presidential candidate. Can a person learn and change? Whether or not I believe in global warming I think the environment should be protected and I do believe that he stands for that.

He said sick people should have been quarantined during the lockdown, so who ever is labeled sick, according to health and government authorities, could lose any freedom of movement or seeking whatever care they think would work for them. I understand the desire to latch on to someone who seems to be promoting a message of goodness in all the craziness, and I also want him to be the good guy, but the simple truth is he’s not.
