I can’t find any 250 w 130 v brooder bulbs (the ones peat recommended) without “shatter proof” coating. Does anyone know if This product (or This ) would be fine {does it alter the spectrum?} or if not where to order a 250 w 130v

Those aren't brooder bulbs. Do brooder bulbs not give you the right wavelengths? They're a lot cheaper

I heard peat say to get 130 volt instead of 120. Also heard clear>red

It says it’s okay for mammals lizards etc but yeah prolly not ideal

I assume any br40 with a shatter resistant coating would have the same issue ? I haven’t been able to find a 250 w 130 v without the shatter resistant coating unfortunately

Anyone know if the spectrum would be the same? The gas issue doesn’t seem to be an issue for humans as the vendor said it’s fine for mammals
