Hey guys! I have an observation that I would like to talk about.
I started to gain weigh all of a sudden.
My weight was so stable at 79 kg while following Peat guidelines. It was the first time that I could maintain weight so easily.
Within a couple of days (5 or so), my weight jumped up 2 kg. Some of it is body fat.
One change I made. I used to do 2 bodyweight sets to failure per day (pull ups and dips). Now I only do 1 set. Since I only do 1 set, my weight went up.
At the same time, I'm noticing my sleep is better and my feet warmer. I have a speculation that either there is less protein synthesis due to less training; hence some calories are going towards body fat. Or my stress hormones are slowing down, and I am getting some body fat as a result. Or a combination.
Does this make sense?
