Dr Peat thought cutting wood was a good form of exercise. He says so in this interview. He also mentions testosterone and says unused muscles are slightly toxic in some conditions. Some people seem to be under the impression that he did not exercise - he definitely didn't go for a run or hit the gym but he was active.

I find playing American football very androgenic.
Unfortunately it's very violent and a high risk sport regarding injury.
But just throwing the 🏈 and sprinting makes you already feel twice the man.
