If the new property had been empty for a while did you run the tap for a while before using the water?

I didn't run the system. I did notice the pressure was slower than usual but the property isn't empty there's two people that live there.

At a previous property I moved into this happened and I tried even running the unit overnight to flush it and it didn't help. Strangely at this most recent place I noticed no smell or taste but I got brain fog instantly after drinking it and the flushing and swollen nose occurred over the next 20 minutes.

strange. how much plain water are you drinking?

Yeah it's really bizarre and I would love to figure out a solution. I even contacted the supplier and he said logically this shouldn't occur (which I would agree) and he said I could try installing another filter.

I only drink RO water from my current address. I would gladly buy supermarket water if I could as then I wouldn't be tied to this water filter. It makes moving difficult and it makes it impossible for me to go on holidays...
