Hans,Salicylic acid and sodium salicylate are two of the least problematic versions. Many studies show that SA doesn't cause bleeding but is actually gastroprotective. Aspirin is rapidly converted to salicylic acid in the body, but it's still aspirin that causes the (micro) bleeding.
I can't find much information about taking pure SA.
Are 75 mg of SA equal to 100 mg of aspirin?
Can 75 mg of SA be taken with a meal, mixed in with yogurt, for example?
I found some SA on amazon.
