Yeah, I eat eggs every day. Zinc, I’m not so sure. I eat beef quite often. And sometimes oysters. Maybe I need to eat more?
Depends how often. In my opinion its important to have a significant zinc source daily. For example, oysters once a week and 8 oz beef 3x a week imo does not cut it. I do daily 8 oz beef minimum because I dont eat oysters and a few servings of dairy daily add some more zinc on top of that.
If say you don't eat beef or oysters one day, to get the 11mg zinc DV minimum you need to consume quite a bit of dairy and chicken/pork to get near that, and imo its not adequate considering there are quite a few things that can raise zinc needs and most people meet of a few of these criteria. Veal liver (unlike adult liver) also is a significant source of zinc if you eat 3 oz at a time say once a week it has quite a bit.
Examples being too much stress, sweating, trying to build muscle mass, skin issues or poor skin quality (acne, dermatitis, etc), infection/overgrowth/fungal issues...
